We built Spoilert to solve this problem for households, family members, and shared flatmates. By creating a unified, real-time sync database, we ensure everyone in the house knows exactly what is inside the fridge and pantry.
We designed the app interface from the ground up to be minimalist, aesthetic, and incredibly fast to use. No tedious input processes, no heavy setups. Just quick listings, automated circular health views, and intelligent notifications that let you know when to consume your groceries.
Spoilert is built local-first on top of the Realm NoSQL database engine, ensuring your inventory is accessible instantly, even inside thick metal refrigerator doors. Remote cloud sync is handled in the background via Supabase PostgreSQL, keeping your household updated with zero effort.
We take your privacy seriously. Spoilert is built with a privacy-by-design architecture: your personal lists stay on your device, shared inventory is hosted securely in Europe (europe-west, Frankfurt/Hamina), and you can erase your entire account and data with a single tap in the settings.
We are actively integrating Gemini 2.0 Flash into our receipt scanning pipeline. By matching ML Kit OCR outputs with Google's lightweight AI, Spoilert will automatically clean up store abbreviations (like 'LUOM BAN' into 'Organic Banana'), correct scanning character anomalies, and categorize foods instantly with near-perfect accuracy.
Food tracking belongs where you work. With standalone watchOS and Wear OS companion apps, you can check off shopping lists and view urgent deadlines directly from complications on your wrist, even when leaving your phone behind.
